Wood Carvings needing replacement
A correspondent writing from Australia has told me he purchased two carvings in Honiara from a seller near to Rove some months ago.
The carvings, one of a man and the other or a woman have apparently been damaged during a house move and the writer is seeking to replace both carved figures.
I have attached photos of the two carvings and would very much like to hear from the wood carver who sold the objects in the hope they could be duplicated in the original form, including with hair and clothing and of the same height and wood colour.
