Advancing women in leadership and stewardship
The six young Solomon Islands ladies competing in this year’s Miss Solomon Islands Pageant chose to advance the cause of women in leadership and stewardship.
The crowing ceremony will be held tonight, Saturday, at the Coral Sea and Casino Resort in Honiara.
Each of the six competitors has already given a speech at the Auditorium on Friday, when they spoke about their selected topics.
The six contestants for the MSIP 2019 are Miss Western Province Mynisha Boso from Western Province, Miss Top Timbers Melissa Fomani from Malaita/Western province, Miss Coral Sea & Casino Gladys Habu from Isabel province, Miss Supper Star Tiare Haro from Malaita/Western Provinces, Miss JQY Bridgette Igilave from Western/PNG and Miss Honiara City Council Freda Maui from Renbel province.
The six young ladies are to be congratulated in competing in the Pageant by focusing on issues that are fundamental to the causes of women in the Solomon Islands.
Best of luck to all competitors.
Yours sincerely
