I am very happy to share with readers the following unsolicited letter posted today to my Facebook page by John Kabu from the Solomon Islands.
Quote.
Dear Doctors and nurses.
I wanted to let you know that all your doctors and nurses at the Surgical ward are reliable, respected, caring, and friendly. If it weren’t for the amazing care I received and the proper medical decisions that were made when I was seriously ill and hospitalized, I wouldn’t have regained consciousness by now. You are one in a million. Thank you for being kind and caring while I was ill, not only to me but to my friends and family members as well.
Thank you again for everything you did to resolve my health issues in a timely manner.

Thank you John for your kind and meaningful remarks about your stay at the NRH, the treatment you received and the exemplary care and attention of the doctors, nurses and staff of those in the hospital’s Surgical ward.
Rare for such kindness and attention to be acknowledged and rarely still for anyone to say so.
I am pleased to see in your photograph you have a wheel chair and crutches to help with your mobility and recovery and I hope all other patients in the NRH'S Surgical ward have the same means of mobility.
Get well soon and my good wishes.
Yours sincerely
Frank Short
