I consider it was unnecessary and alarmist for staff reporter Mavis (Podokolo) to have reported in the Island Sun today titling her story ‘541 reported with vaccine side effects.’
When one read the full story the side effects were not serious and one could say “normal” after a jab with a needle in the arm.
The WHO approved vaccines being rolled out in the Solomon Islands are safe and can save lives from the threat of Covid-19.
Sorry, Mavis, but let us try not to cause any unnecessary concern over the roll out of the WHO approved vaccines.
Yours sincerely
