Following the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic many countries closed their borders to tourists and the consequences on health, tourism, and national economies became of serious concern
The Solomon Islands re-opened its air borders again on 1 July this year and the national flag carrier airline, Solomon Airlines, has many attractive packages on offer to encourage tourists to return to the beautiful natural paradise that awaits them on arrival once more in the Solomon Islands.
I would encourage all those seeking to take a holiday break and enjoy what the Solomon Islands has to offer them to arrange a trip as soon as possible in the New Year, especially those in regional countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia, Japan, South Korea, but also those living further afield such as in the United States, the United Kingdom and in the European countries.
