A cancer unit has been established at the National Referral Hospital (NRH) but the unit is desperately in need of one or more mammogram machines to help detect signs of breast cancer and this letter is by way an international appeal for such vital equipment.
The doctor in charge of the cancer unit has also appealed for help for his unit and is currently putting together what he has said is a “wish list” of equipment and supplies for the cancer unit.
If you can help the National Referral Hospital and especially the cancer unit, please write to the Medical Superintendent of the NRH.
