Quoting the Island Sun newspaper – 23 January 2019
“THE Solomon Islands Planned Parenthood Association (SIPPA) will work to lessen health issues in 10 fixed sites across the country as a way forward for this year, 2019.
“This was expressed by Jack Martin, Senior programme officer for International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), in an exclusive interview.
“According to Martin he says as way a forward for SIPPA they will be focusing their work commitment on 10 fix-sites across the provinces who have reported with alarming rates of health issues.
“He said the rates are recorded and revealed on SIPPA’s collected clinic data filed last year.
“Hence the rolling out of associations activities will based on the collected data.
“The 10 sites have been determined by the clinic that has been collected during SIPPA’s ground work across the provinces.
“So the 10 sites are six in Honiara and four in Auki and next year they’ll move to Gizo and other provinces,” said Martin.”
