Drums to council for rubbish disposal
Quoting the Solomon Star newspaper – 23 January 2020
“SOUTH Pacific Oil (SPOL) on Wednesday handed over 300 empty drums to the Honiara city council (HCC) as part of efforts to clean up the city.
“SPOL’s Director of the Waste Management & Control Division George Bogese said the drums will be put up along the streets of Honiara for people to dispose off their rubbish.
“He said the donation is part of SPOL’s contribution to cleaning up the city.
“Bogese said SPOL will be supplying the council with drums on a quarterly basis.”
