New British envoy to SI announced
Quoting the Solomon Star newspaper – 7 October 2019
“THE British Government on Thursday announced its new representative to Solomon Islands and Nauru.
“A press statement from the British Government said Dr Brian Jones has been appointed High Commissioner to Solomon Islands. He will also be the non-resident High Commissioner to the Republic of Nauru. Dr Jones will succeed Mr David Ward.
“Mr Ward will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment.
“Dr Jones will take up his appointment in December 2019.”
