Former Solomon Islands premier arrested on corruption charges
Quoting Radio New Zealand – 1 January 2019
“The former premier of the Solomon Islands province of Temotu has been arrested on alleged corruption charges.
“Father Brown Beu was arrested along with the former provincial secretary, Samuel Kafukesa.
“The charges relate to the granting of logging rights and the transfer of profits between 2015 and 2017.”
