Redman island slowly drowns

Rising sea levels and changes in weather patterns are slowly taking Redman Island in Choiseul province.
Senior Choiseul Province Tourism Division Officer Qoso Carlmax confirmed to Island Sun that Redman Island is one of the best visiting sites for cruise tourists. But, the island is heavily affected by climate change as sea level rise continues to eat away chunks of the island.
He said the island is rich in bird species such as the local pigeon.
