PAMUA COLLEGE GETS A SANITATION PROJECT

Sanitation project for Pamua College

Quoting the Solomon Star newspaper – 10 September 2019

“THE Anglican Church of Melanesia (ACOM) owned school in Makira Ulawa province St Stephen Pamua College has taken ownership of a new girls’ sanitation project.

“The project was funded under the Melanesian Mission United Kingdom (MMUK) from England.

“The project started off over the past few years after the need for sanitation for the girls was identified.

“ACOM Education Secretary Desmond Waita in a statement confirmed the new sanitation facility was opened by the Bishop of Hanuao’to Diocese on the 1st of this month September 2019.

“Mr Waita said the project was also supported by the school administration and surrounding communities through the provision of important resources like sand, timber and other related requirement.”
