Koete RTC launches wind mill project

Quoting the Solomon Star newspaper � 14 March 2018

�BISHOP Koete Rural Training Centre (RTC) at Taroniara in Ngella, Central Province over the weekend took ownership of a newly installed wind mill project funded by New Zealand.

�High Commissioner of New Zealand in the Solomon Islands, His Excellency Don Higgins was the guest of honour at the official launching program.

�New Zealand is not new to Solomon Islands, it is a long time friend of this country,� Mr Higgins said.

�He added that he is happy with the project and hope it benefited the centre and its students.

�We will continue to support Solomon Islands with such project to benefit its people.�

�Principal of the Centre Casper Kuria said that the windmill project has made changes so far to the lives of the students.

�Bishop Koete centre is operating under the Anglican Church of Melanesia (ACOM).�
