A 20 foot container of medical supplies for the National Referral Hospital

Take My Hands Charity Trust in New Zealand (my partner charity) informed me in a letter today that a 20 foot container of medical supplies and equipment has recently been shipped by Swire Shipping to Honiara for the National Referral Hospital (NRH).

Readers may recall that the SFA kindly donated the funds for two forty foot containers of hospital beds and wheel chairs and the first of the two containers arrived in Honiara last November.

The second 40 foot container with a further 50 hospital beds and more wheel chairs is awaited

This latest shipment of valuable supplies for the NH was made possible by Swire Shipping, Tradeco (who supplied the container) and Waitemata DHB Container Company in New Zealand, PBT Transport and NZOPA members, and with the support of donations made to TMH by the New Zealand community

In other words, the 20 container has been sent to aid the MoHMS/NRH in addition to the two 40 foot containers. What more can we say, than

Mauruuru ki a koutou katoa mo to koutou awhina atawhai na roto i te haere i te maeke atu ki te awhina i nga ratonga hauora i nga motu o Horomona.

For information about the contents of the 20 foot container here is the inventory.
