The construction is going ahead of the first-ever modernized mini-hospital in East Malaita. Once completed it will improve health accessibility to the rural people in East Malaita and the Southern Region of Malaita Province.
The mini-hospital is funded under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) facilitated by the Ministry of Rural Development. Thanks to the Peoples' Republic of China (PRC) for also supporting the development of this modern infrastructure by supplying the materials for the foundation work.
Member of Parliament for East Malaita Constituency Honorable Manasseh Maelanga vision is to see that his constituents access good health services.
