Help with vaccinations for the Hearts of Hope Charity and those elderly persons in the charity’s care
A vaccination rollout is scheduled this coming week in Malaita and I very much hope all ill take advantage of the availability of vaccines and get themselves vaccinated to protect themselves and others from Covid-19.l
I have in mind the voluntary care workers of the Hearts of Hope charity and I especially urge those caring ladies to get an early vaccination and to follow up with a second vaccination.
The H of H takes care of hundreds of elderly widows and thousands of young orphans in the province and the elderly widows must be especially vulnerable to coronavirus should it reach Malaita.
If help is needed to assist H of H and the elderly in the care of the charity, I very much hope some transport can be provided to facilitate vaccination at official vaccination centres.
While mentioning transport, I would like to thank the Holy Cross Cathedral in Honiara for providing transport to those with disabilities in Honiara needing to get vaccinations. If others, or organizations, have done the same since I made an appeal for such assistance, I say thank you to all.
Yours sincerely
