It was revealed in the Star newspaper today, Friday, 24 March 2017, that the Prime Minister’s Office(PMO) had contributed S$497,357 to the San Isidro Centre in Ariligo to help build two new dormitories to accommodate handicapped students while learning trade and life skills.
The information on the payment came to notice when the figures were revealed to the PAC members during a hearing into the 2016 supplementary budget in Parliament yesterday.
I express my personal thanks to the Office of the Prime Minister for the generous and practical support to such a worthy, charitable centre that continues to help those less fortunate in society.
