China agrees to take all 125 Solomon Islands students studying in Taiwan and more

“CHINA has reportedly agreed to take all 125 Solomon Islands students studying in Taiwan starting next year, officials have confirmed.
“This was agreed during discussions in Beijing following the signing of the Joint Communique on Saturday, September 21.
“At the same time, Island Sun has learned that China is “amiable to offering more scholarships to Solomon Islands students along the lines of up to five students per Constituency.”
“This means an additional 250 scholarships could be on offer from the 2020 Academic Year.”
