6th tribe claims ownership of Bina Harbour
Quoting the Island Sun newspaper – 4 July 2019
“A sixth tribe, Ula’ako tribe, has come out claiming to be the true owner of Bina Harbour in Malaita Province.
“Bina Harbour is being earmarked by the government for a major cannery project.
“Ula’ako tribe is the 6th tribe to claim ownership of Bina Harbour.
Land dispute over this land has dogged the planned project for over 40 years.”
