Solomon Islands: Five community led projects funded by Australia’s Direct Aid Program.
The Australian High Commission is funding five new community-led projects in Malaita and Guadalcanal under its Direct Aid Program (DAP).
The projects include setting up a solar power system for Atoifi hospital, building an ablution block for Arnon Atomea Primary School, constructing a new clinic for Oneone Abu, rebuilding the early childhood classroom for Hulavu ECE and improving the water supply system at Maoro Christian Community School.
.The DAP is a small grants scheme, managed by the Australian High Commission, which works directly with communities and funds projects aimed at improving living standards across Solomon Islands.
