The 1000 strong community in Tuoo Village on Fenualoa Island in the remote Reef Islands is desperately in need of a desalination machine to produce drinking water from sea water since the community has suffered very badly with a lack of rain induced by El Nino conditions and ground water supplies of freshwater have dried up.
