On 5 August I wrote and published locally and on Linkedin an appeal for funds to enable a young child, Xavier Bele, just 3 years and reportedly suffering from leukaemia to be able to be sent overseas for medical treatment that could save his life.
I understand efforts are still being made to collect funds and the group known locally as ONE MORE SHOT are continuing to try and get enough money together to see Xavier transferred offshore for treatment.
My understanding is the little boy is suffering considerably from his life-threatening condition and it must be agonising for his devoted parents to see their son suffering so much.
I again please ask that those that can help Xavier and his mother and father by donating money to the family in order that his ordeal of daily suffering is aided and his medical transfer can go ahead quickly.
I would particularly request commercial banks and business houses in Honiara to combine efforts along with companies, corporations and perhaps the local Rotary Club, to raise and donate the money required for Xaviers chance in a life time opportunity to get the medical attention he so desperately needs.
